How to define temperature load in Siemens NX (1915) FEM simulation, including analytical validation.
In this video is show how to define a temperature load in Siemens NX (1915) FEM simulation (Pre/Post). This work method is similar in NX 12 simulation and can, therefore, used also for NX 12. However, the used tangential constraint is not available in NX 12. Furthermore in this video is shown how to create and use a 3D mesh collector and how to see results in the cylindrical coordinate system. At the end of the video, the analytical validation of the example is shown.
Analytical validation the formula shown is missing the cylindrical area (A= (pi/4) * 0.02^2 SI units result m^2) as a factor.
