Vivo is about to launch its Vivo X Fold 3 series foldable which will launch most likely this month. After many reports and rumors, here is the very first look at the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro as well as its key details.
This time the brand is planning a different strategy. Instead of just launching a higher-end book-style foldable phone, Vivo will launch the vanilla Vivo X Fold 3 which will be relatively affordable, and the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. With this effort, Vivo is trying to expand its foldable to more people.
Thanks to the latest leaked information we now have an idea of what will be the differences between the vanilla Vivo X Fold 3 and the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. The Pro variant will utilize the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 making it the World's first foldable phone to debut with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will also certainly launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but it will launch a way later.
Another good improvement that the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 series will be lighter in weight than the Vivo X Fold 2. The standard Vivo X Fold 3 is said to be the lightest one even lighter than the Honor Magic V2.
Though it’s unclear whether the Vivo X Fold 3 series will make it to other markets than China or not however it can give a tough time to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 or even the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold6, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, and other foldable phones in China.
