Generic Plavix Release Date ( clopidogrel ) May 17th 2012 Release date
Looks like my date was off just a little. Your pharmacy should have the generic Plavix on May 19th or 20th. We were able to order some on the 18th. Most Pharmacies will pay about $4.00 to $11.00 cost for 30 tablets. AWP [Average Wholesale Price] is very high about $600.00 to $1,000.00 for 30 tablets.
Ask your Pharmacist questions about AWP, Cost, and Retail price if you think your final price is too high.
This may be one of those drugs that will be cheaper to pay cash price for than to use your insurance.
