Advanced HMI Management with Connectivity
At the 2014 ITS World Congress event, DENSO demonstrated how vehicles can seamlessly communicate using dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) and 4G LTE communications. The demo vehicle went through six scenarios where it “talked” to other vehicles, traffic signals and even pedestrian smart phones to communicate potential life-saving information back to the driver. DENSO also showed how its HMI cockpit system safety displays potential hazards and information to the driver. #AdvancedSafety #ConnectedVehicleTechnology
