Христиане-адвентисты седьмого дня (асд)
Догматическое учение адвентистов во многом тождественно учению баптистов. Но отличие заключается в трех основных пунктах:
Учение о скором Пришествии Спасителя.
Учение о душе, которая умирает вместе с телом.
Обязательное празднование субботы, согласно 4-й заповеди Закона.
Богослужение адвентистов седьмого дня отличается простотой. Молитвенные собрания их состоят из чтения Священного Писания, проповедей, молитв и пения гимнов. Каких-либо обязательных молитв у них нет, это скорее живая импровизация. Из внешних молитвенных действий допускается лишь коленопреклонение под звон колокольчика с кафедры. Сами себя они именуют «Церковь верного остатка». Откуда такое наименование – мы рассмотрим в разделе об их возникновении.
Seventh-day Adventist Christians (ASD)
The dogmatic teaching of the Adventists is in many ways identical with the teaching of the Baptists. But the difference lies in three main points:
The doctrine of the imminent Coming of the Savior.
The doctrine of the soul that dies with the body.
Obligatory celebration of the Sabbath, according to the 4th commandment of the Law.
Seventh-day Adventist worship is simple. Their prayer meetings consist of reading the Holy Scriptures, sermons, prayers and singing hymns. They do not have any obligatory prayers, it is rather a live improvisation. Of the external prayer actions, only kneeling under the ringing of a bell from the pulpit is allowed. They call themselves the "Church of the Faithful Remnant". Where such a name comes from - we will consider in the section about their occurrence.
