Last day of chorus is always rough, but this year... wow..... Major props to the kids for keeping it together and delivering so mightily on their farewell performance. I wrote the song (not to be confused with the @samsmith classic of the same name which we ALSO covered recently), about twenty years ago, and it remains one of my favorite personal creations. But never was it more beautifullly sung than in the PS22 auditorium this past Friday, and it served as a most touching and memorable goodbye. 😢😭
