How to fix your speedometer and test it at home.
A speedometer has 3 wires on it.
IG - This goes to the key.
Ground - this goes to battery earth.
S - represents the word signal. This goes to the signal pin of the speed sensor at the gearbox.
On the gearbox there is three pins.

A few hints. Read the back of the printed circuit board and look for the above symbols. Start with 5v. If no go up the voltage to 12v.
