Cisco Catalyst to Juniper EX - Config Migration - Step 1: Process Overview
The first in a series of videos detailing how to migrate a simple access-layer Cisco Catalyst configuration to a Juniper EX virtual-chassis. While focused on the access-layer hardware, the lab will include internal services and a WAN gateway with connectivity to the public Internet.
In this video, I provide an overview of the lab environment and what to expect in the upcoming videos. Note that this isn't just a config copy/paste exercise. We'll create a configuration that can be adapted into a template for use on other devices, build our virtual-chassis from scratch, and do a physical cutover with validation testing.
