1:6 Canoe Catamaran design test, explore Star Island
Today we spend an extra day at camp on Star Island testing our canoe catamaran design for the first time and getting ready for our 3 to 4 mile crossing of Cass Lake. The wind has been blowing from the east so we would be pushing into wind and waves today but the forecast is expected to change. The wind should switch direction by tomorrow and as long as the water and waves calm down enough we should be in good shape to make the crossing tomorrow. Let's see if this thing floats..
Please help take care of our watersheds. Never litter and always pick up trash when you can. Everything heads downstream.
