A Plague Tale: Requiem is an action adventure, survival horror, stealth based, 3rd person perspective video game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment, being released in October 2022. A Plague Tale: Requiem is the sequel to the popular A Plaque Tale: Innocence that was first released back in 2019 to much acclaim. The game is available on Nintendo, Xbox X/S, Windows, and PlayStation 5. The protagonist of the video game is Amicia who you play during the French Inquisition. Amicia, Hugo, Beatrice, and Lucas must flee their home due to a terrible plague and rat hordes in France during a war of the 1300's. An underground organization made up of alchemists have promised to help the younger brother Hugo when they find out he has special powers that are beyond his control and killing him. Amicia and Hugo go looking for a way to cure Hugo of his powers but the rats and the plague follow them, determined to kill anything in their path. Amicia and Hugo uncover many secrets of the plague and the secret order on their journey to cure Hugo and save the world.
