সারসংক্ষেপ : আখ বাংলাদেশের একটি অন্যতম প্রধান অর্থকরী ফসল, ফলন ভালো হওয়ায় আখ চাষের আবাদ দিন দিন বাড়ছে ঈশ্বরদী, পাবনা জেলায়। বর্তমান চাষিদের পাশাপাশি নতুনরাও চাষি আখ চাষের প্রতি আগ্রহী হয়ে উঠছেন।জেলাটির মাটি এঁটেল দো-আঁশ হওয়ায় এখানে আখ চাষে গত কয়েক বছরে বেশ সফলতা পেয়েছেন কৃষকরা। আব্দুল মজিদ ২০১৮ সালে ৫ বিঘা জমিতে ১০ হাজার চারা দিয়ে আখ চাষ শুরু করেছে। তিনি আশা করছেন এবছর ১৬ লাখ টাকার আখ বিক্রয় করতে পারবেন।
