Deshaun Watson starting against the Cardinals
The Browns named Deshaun Watson the starting quarterback on Sunday against the Cardinals. Watson practiced all week and ended the week with no injury designation for the game.
Following practice and media availability on Friday, Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe discussed Kevin Stefanski’s decision to start Watson and how this time might be different than when Watson tried to come back against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7. Watson was taken out of that game after taking a big hit.
They also discuss other injuries as the Browns will be without cornerback Greg Newsome II while right tackle Dawand Jones is questionable.
