Animation can be used to achieve a particular look or affect that can otherwise not be created through traditional filming. Animation is a term that can be applied when otherwise still video assets are given movement. Animation can also be applied to text to give it motion and more impact. Animation can also be used to create environments where the (virtual camera) has more freedom to move through the space.
