Digital Radiography and Fluoroscopy use X-ray-sensitive plates to directly capture data during the patient examination, immediately transferring it to a computer system. Advantages to this technology include Faster turn-around times and immediate image preview, the ability to digitally transfer images to other systems for ease of analysis, increasing image enhancement, and details. Less radiation can be used than conventional radiography.
