Setting up Virtual Desktop with your Oculus Quest can be confusing at first, especially when it comes to questions about your Wifi, internet, and router. In this tutorial I break down how to turn your headset into the best Virtual Reality HMD available on the market with a wireless connection to a gaming PC. I break it down as simply as I can so that anybody can set up a dedicated network to play Steam VR and Oculus Rift S games on your Oculus Quest headset.
CORRECTIONS:
Not all Wifi cards can produce a 5ghz channel. Make sure yours can or check out the one I'm using below.
I apologize for saying "Visual Desktop" several times towards the end of the video. I meant "Virtual Desktop."
Some people have informed me that Revive is no longer required to make oculus games work. It is still nice to see all of your games in SteamVR though! And I believe it is still required to play oculus games with other wired headsets.
