Fix No Internet, Secured Error - WiFi Connected but No Internet on Windows 11/10
"No Internet, Secured" is a common WiFi problem with Windows 11 and 10. Due to this issue, your WiFi stays connected, but the Internet doesn't work. It might happen due to several reasons, like -
1. Misconfigured WiFi network
2. Outdated WiFi driver
3. Wrong VPN and Proxy settings
4. Problem with WiFi services
and many other reasons.
Disable and Enable Wi-Fi Adapter
Access Network Connections via Control Panel -- Network and Sharing Center -- Change adapter settings, right-click the Wi-Fi adapter, select Disable, wait, then Enable. This refreshes the connection without rebooting.
Check IP and DNS Settings
Go to Settings -- Network & Internet -- Wi-Fi -- connected network -- edit IP and DNS assignments, set both to automatic (DHCP). Alternatively, run ipconfig /all in Command Prompt to verify current settings.
Remove VPN Profiles
In Settings -- Network & Internet -- VPN, select and remove any VPN profiles. For PowerShell, use Remove-VpnConnection -Name "VPNName" -Force as admin.
Configure Proxy Settings
Navigate to Settings -- Network & Internet -- Proxy, enable "Automatically detect settings" and disable manual proxy. Avoid custom proxies unless required.
Restart WLAN AutoConfig Service
Open services.msc via Run (Win+R), find WLAN AutoConfig, right-click -- Properties -- Stop then Start, set Startup type to Automatic.
Uninstall VPN Apps
Go to Settings -- Apps -- Installed apps, search for VPN apps (sort by install date), select and uninstall. Restart after removal.
Reinstall Network Adapter Driver
In Device Manager (Win+X -- Device Manager), expand Network adapters, right-click Wi-Fi adapter -- Uninstall device (check delete driver if needed), then Action -- Scan for hardware changes or reboot.
Run Network Commands in CMD
Open CMD as admin, run sequentially: netsh winsock reset, netsh int ip reset, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew, ipconfig /flushdns, then reboot.
Perform Network Reset
Settings -- Network & Internet -- Advanced network settings -- Network reset -- Reset now; PC reboots and restores defaults. Reconnect to Wi-Fi afterward.
