TRUCK from the movie UNIVERSAL SOLDIER (1992).
TRUCK from the film UNIVERSAL SOLDIER (1992). In this episode, we examine one of the most memorable auto props of the 90s – the futuristic truck from the film "Universal Soldier" (1992): a tractor-trailer with a massive folding UniSol laboratory trailer.
We'll discuss whether it was a real truck, how such props are typically built for movies (hero versions, stunt versions, studio interiors), and how the cliff fall could have been filmed: which parts were filmed full-size, and which parts could have used a miniature, pyrotechnics, and editing. We'll also look back at filming locations in the desert regions of the United States and the afterlife of movie cars.
✅ If you love movie cars, practical special effects, and behind-the-scenes footage, this will be interesting.
