I benchmark games on Linux so you can see how they perform.
Before each benchmark I ensure my system is up to date and then I reboot to ensure no random background processes are running.
This channel is in no way professional. All benchmarks are tested on my (currently aging) PC. The benchmarks aren't scientific or tinkered with to get the best performance. In most cases I will play a game for a few minutes while MangoHUD is in the corner. For games that have a benchmark mode I will use that.
The point of the videos and this channel is for the general public to get some kind of idea how games perform on Linux with an "OOBE". Some games may run better with some tinkering or mods, or on different distros with different kernels, but that's not the point of this channel. If a game is super unplayable or refuses to launch without significant mods and tinkering, those will be disclosed.
