One of the aims of IASSL is to promote research, development and education related to applied statistics, therefore, the committee plans to raise awareness of the syllabus and university opportunities for those currently studying/teaching the subject.
The subject of Business Statistics was introduced to the Advanced Level syllabus in 1995 and a syllabus revision was done in 2017. However, it has been noted that, due to various reasons, the students are reluctant to choose this subject for advanced level.
