This is a fast paced tutorial on how to find a model in World of Warcraft, export it, set it up in Unity, and then bake it out for Tabletop Simulator to use.
Here are the specifics of what is required, at least for what I used in this tutorial (If links are broken, use your Google fuu):
1. World of Warcraft - No Subscription Required.
2. Wow Model Viewer
https://wowmodelviewer.net/new/download/
This isn't a tutorial on how to use WoW model viewer, but instead how to export a model from it. Simply select the model and anything you want and click File 🡆 Export Model 🡆 FBX...
This will generate the model you have selected in WoW model viewer with it's rig intact. If you select an animation in the prompted window, it'll also export an additional FBX containing the rig and animations you wanted.
3. 3DS Max - Blender may work as a free alternative!
https://www.autodesk.com/products/3ds...
FBX's generally come with textures applied to them when you export them. By importing your model into something like 3ds max, like seen in this tutorial, it'll output the textures in a source folder called "xxxxx.fbm". This contains your texture/s.
4. Unity Hub and Unity 2019.1.14
https://unity3d.com/get-unity/downloa...
It's important that you use this exact version as of making this tutorial. If you use the wrong version, your baked unity asset that Unity outputs for TTS to use won't load properly. Berserk Games states the recommended version on the following link under "Install Unity":

If you want the double-sided shader I used in this tutorial, useful for hair on characters, you can download it here! Make sure to extract this shader to "Unity Project Name"/Assets/Project Name/Shaders. You may need to create a folder called shaders, but it'll be in the same directory that you place your models; ie, Assets/Project/Models, Textures, Materials, Shaders, etc...

5. Berserk Game's Tabletop Simulator Asset Baker
https://github.com/Berserk-Games/Tabl...
Visit this page, click the green button "Clone or Download" and select Download Zip. Once you've opened "Unity 2019.1.14f1", extract the contents of the zip to your Unity project. This folder is usually found in C:\Users\"My PC Name Here"\"Project Name" under whatever you named your Unity project. The zip contains folders: Assets, Logs, Packages, Project Settings, and misc files. So does your Project folder. Extract the zip to that location, overwrite anything it asks.
6. Tabletop Simulator - You're watching this so I assume you have it!
