Everything was going smoothly — until a massive rainstorm slammed into our watermill renovation and turned our build site into a full-on disaster zone. Water poured into the bedroom, the brand-new lime plaster started sliding off the walls, and suddenly we were busting holes through fresh stucco trying to install electrical conduits before the next downpour hit. In this video, we show the unexpected problems that happen during home renovation, why lime plaster is a game-changer vs cement, the emergency drainage fix we attempted late at night, and how we worked alongside our team to salvage walls that looked totally ruined.
