So, Kaliningrad regional Museum of history and art and panorama Koenigsberg 45. Last storm.
In review, there are materials depicting our enemies and the soldiers of the army of the Wehrmacht. The image of the soldiers, their uniform and furnishings shall be solely for educational purpose and does not have any agitation. Also the author personally relates with a fierce contempt for the ideology of the Reich and is proud that his grandparents beat the beast in his lair. One grandfather as head of the recovery train, and the other in the position of chief of the intelligence section. Thank you grandfather for victory!

Three-dimensional panorama is devoted to the events of the final stage of the great Patriotic war,
stormed by the red army of the most important Outpost of the Reich city-fortress Konigsberg. The exhibition captures the moment of hostilities in the center of Koenigsberg in April 1945.
The clash in the city did not stop, went from 6 to 9 April. The city was burning, clouds of smoke were in the sky. Brick dust that settled on clothes and weapons prevented breathing.
Main was broken the enemy's communications and supplies, there was no connection.
The morale of the Koenigsberg garrison was suppressed. On April 9, 1945, at 22:45, the garrison of Koenigsberg, led by commander General Otto von Lyash, accepted unconditional surrender, but some units still resisted. But by the morning of April 10, the city as a whole was cleaned.
The assault on Koenigsberg was a great success for the red army. The powerful fortified area was taken in the shortest possible time. In addition to the sharp deterioration of the overall strategic position of the Wehrmacht
the fall of the capital of East Prussia was a severe moral blow to the entire population of Germany.
And now I will briefly tell you about the history of the building of the Museum of history and art. In the 20th century in Koenigsberg the appearance of which in the coming century changed very rapidly, sharply
there was a lack of a decent concert building in the city. The initiative of erecting Stadthalle
or the city hall came from uber mayor of Koenigsberg Siegfried kerte. For the construction of Stadthalle was chosen a very good place near the Royal castle and the pond, where they loved
walk Kenigsberga. Preparatory work took 5 years, in parallel there was a collection
money. Finally, according to the project of the Berlin architect Richard Seel, the construction of the facility began. The building was inaugurated on March 17, 1912. Stadthalle consisted of three halls. Large for 1600 seats, an average room for 600 seats and a small room.
Built to meet the requirements of the big city Stadthalle looked impressive, modern and meet all conceived requirements. So in the mid 70-ies on the ruins of Stadthalle filmed episodes of the film "Wreath sonnets".
And only by 1980 there was an idea of using this building as a Museum. It was during this period that the active construction of the district began, and it was necessary to decide what to do with the ruined building. In addition, the regional center was in dire need of a spacious Museum building. By the way, until that moment the regional Museum huddled in a small building near the Philharmonic. On January 30, 1981 the Kaliningrad city Executive Committee made a fateful decision for the building: "On approval of the action plan for the organization of works on the restoration of the building on clinical street 21 under the regional historical and art Museum".
At the end of 1984, the main construction work was completed, but it took years
to finish the construction. In total, work on the construction of interior decoration and the creation of the exhibition was carried out for about a decade. The decision to transfer the balance of the regional historical art Museum building on the street Clinical 21 was made January 4, 1991, and in 1992 the building Stadthalle put on record as a monument of architecture of the early 20th century.
