Usual it happens when you get the CPU software bug and your Linux doesn't want to boot into the life disc for an installation

Usual you add nomodeset to actually boot and then after installation you got to take it out of your Grub config file otherwise installed graphic drivers won't work and you end up with a black screen and a white dot on the top left corner.
