"Why Am I Not in Handcuffs?" Intoxicated Driver Busted | Wardens | Episode 5 - Season 4
Summer in Montana brings sun, water, and unique challenges for law enforcement. In this episode of Wardens, we head to Region 5 for the 50th Anniversary of the Yellowstone Boat Float. It’s mass mayhem as hundreds of unorganized rafts and boats hit the river. Watch as Wardens perform multiple life-saving rescues, pulling stranded swimmers from class-III rapids and managing a rowdy, intoxicated crowd.
In Region 3, Warden Rob Aldridge is on high alert for the 4th of July at Hower Lake. Using binoculars to spot violations from a distance, he intercepts a group of underage drinkers who try to lie about their stash. The situation escalates when a second vehicle stop involves a driver claiming to be "military police" who is clearly too impaired to be behind the wheel.
Back on the river, Warden Paul Lukey has to transition from rescue mode to peacekeeper when a reported domestic altercation breaks out on a remote stretch of the Yellowstone. With a storm rolling in and blood on the scene, the wardens must act fast to separate the parties and get everyone safely to shore.
