Adobe After Effects: How to move a shape along a custom path and auto orient the shape
Learn how to animate along a path in this short Adobe After Effects tutorial video. In this video, I show you how to take a vector arrow and animate it around a looping path. Next, I show you how to orient the arrow so it appears to follow the path, always pointing towards the end of the path.
How did you orient the arrow along the path?
The arrow orientation is accomplished by selecting the arrow, then right-clicking and choosing Transform • Auto Orient • Orient Along Path.
