Gaming keyboards exist in a number of shapes and sizes, but the TKL mechanical keyboard has become one of the most popular in the last decade or so.
TKL stands for Tenkeyless keyboards (AKA keyboards without a number pad) and was created for gamers that don't need the number pad. Despite this being a disadvantage for some, the compact form factor of the TKL mechanical keyboards is often requested by users with limited work space.
