5.3 Gen 4 piston and rods in a Gen 3 LS engine
We're verifying the balance concerns of running Gen 4 pistons/rods on a Gen 3 crankshaft without balancing the assembly.
GM made all the pistons, pins, rings weigh the same regardless whether it's G3, G4, flat top or dish 4.8/5.3!!! All weigh 604g. Even though the different generations have different piston and pin weight they equal 570g plus 41g ring set.
