When Russell Crowe won the Oscar for Gladiator it changed the game for actors in a period piece and brought the epic genre back into the contemporary market place. Now the majority of the highest grossing box office films of all time are epic adventure films and shows like HBO's Game Of Thrones are bringing the epic to the small screen. But there is no defined style for this tricky balance between the old and the new: The old British theatre techniques are now too theatrical for the modern style, and American method acting by itself is too modern to be "of the time".

Laurence Fuller is an Award Winning actor, having been through both the rigours of British theatre including graduating with a degree in "Classical Theatre" from England's most exclusive drama school Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (alumni including three time Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis) and continuous training in the contemporary psychological depths of American method acting, working with Ivana Chubbuck (clients include Oscar winners and nominees Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jim Carey and James Franco). For the first time, Fuller combines the two disciplines, the best of both British classical theatre and modern method acting for film, for the contemporary market of acting in a period piece for Film or TV.
Upon graduating from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Laurence made his critically acclaimed West End debut in the Spanish Golden Age comedy "Madness In Valencia" at Trafalgar Studios. He then went on the star in the lead role opposite Oscar Nominated actor Robert Loggia in the Roman epic feature film "Apostle Peter and The Last Supper"

"It's not hard to see why there is so much buzz surrounding Laurence Fuller, His performance is excellent" - Film Review with Robert Mann

As a result of the success of Apostle Peter and the Last Supper he was offered the lead role in the British Roman epic feature "Victrix! The Last Legion" shooting later this year. Other recent leading roles in period pieces include "Gallic" the futuristic smuggler who breaks his brother out of jail and Ernest in the steam punk epic "A Mechanical Heart" and in the lead role opposite Max Cullen in the Australian ABC Network feature "Possession(s)". In TV Fuller recently shot a Series Regular in the 2012 pilot "Coached" opposite Tyler James Williams (Go On, Everybody Hates Chris)
