There are a lot of ways to use curves in Blender. In chapter 5 of this series you'll learn how to make particles move along a curve. First Karim Joseph goes through the various settings and explains the differences between using a curve guide force field and a force with a curve shape. In the second part he demonstrates how to create a blood flow animation using a particles curve guide.
