2018 Civic Type R Review - Battle of the "R"s [4K] 2/4

Here is the total score of the 2018 Honda Civic Type R
Styling : 8.5/10 - distinctively different from the rest of the Civics, you will make no mistake when you see the Type R on the road. Exterior styling is easy on the eyes, a lot of functional vents and finished off with the huge spoiler. Interior very similar amongst the rest of the civics but the nice touch of the red bucket racing seats grabbed my attention.
Handling : 8/10 - Very controlled. Gives great feedback with the steering and provide you a lot of confidence at high speeds. The bucket racing seats definitely helped and are also very comfortable.
Performance : 8.5/10 - The fastest FWD production vehicle, period. The numbers are exciting and whats even more exciting is that this Japaneses machine has great torque. Downshift rev-match, perfect every time, you will reach your desired speed with no lack of power. This Type R is very engaging and with the correct display, you will see how this car performs infront of your very eyes.
Comfort : 7/10 - The bucket racing seats weren't as uncomfortable as I thought. You get used to it after a few minutes and it molds into your body perfectly. That downfall is that, it's hard to get in and out from the seat. The rear seats are regular bench seats, cloth, with formidable comfort.
Technology : 7.5/10 - A lot of the Honda Sensing technology has been taking out for weight reduction. You have your standard navigation, rear-view camera, different vehicle modes and climate control.
That leaves us with a total score of 39.5/50 for the 2018 Honda Civic Type R.
