The Best Thing for Quickly Creating Functional Ideas. A design book!
Using a design book is the best way to quickly come up with functional ideas as well as increase your productivity before committing to a specific design. It is important to draw out your ideas on paper before imputing loads of effort into an idea so that you know you are on track to create the best possible part in the least amount of time.
