How To Remove Background Noise In Video
While you should always aim to capture clean audio from the get go, sometimes this isn’t possible. That’s why in this video I’m going to show you how to remove background noise in videos, whether it’s an annoying hum, a fan, air conditioner or cars.
I use this editing technique with every single audio file I use -- there is always some sort of room tone that you can take out. The key is to be sure to take 10 seconds of room tone each time you hit record! This will make your life significantly easier when cleaning background noise in Adobe Audition (you have access to this program if you pay for Adobe Creative Cloud Suite).
This technique also works for cleaning podcast audio or any other background noise in audio or video. Make your audio nice and crispy by following the steps in this video for noise removal in Adobe Audition.
