https://www.tec-it.com - How to print labels in an easy way? This video demonstrates how to create and print barcode labels with the label software TFORMer Designer. For this example a Microsoft Excel file is used as datasource. This file contains some datafields (model, part number etc.) which should be printed on the labels.

First, a standard label based on a template list is created with the label wizard. The sample text of the label is deleted, because a completely new label is created. Next, the sample file containing the data is imported. Now a preview with the data and the column name is displayed. TFORMer automatically creates a datafield for each column contained in the file. Datafields serve as placeholders for imported data in the layout.
Now the label is re-designed from scratch. A new text element is inserted and assigned to the corresponding datafield. A barcode element is added to the layout and the datafield "Part Number" is assigned to the barcode. The part number is now encoded as bar code symbol! A click on Preview follows in order to see the finished labels. Now the labels can be printed on your printer or exported as PDF file. That's it!
