Tech Tips: Five reasons Snagit is one of the best screenshot programs.
I have been using Techsmith’s Snagit screenshot program for many years. One of the biggest reasons is so that I don’t have to type as much. Often, when I need to reply to someone, it can be a complicated description of a process or steps to follow. Instead of typing all of that out, I take screenshots and annotate them with arrows, text, shapes and more. My clients love the screenshots I send them in response to their questions. Images with arrows, steps or text are much more effective than 2 paragraphs of text.

I originally found Snagit when searching for a screenshot program that could do a scrolling window. I wanted to be able to showcase websites we’ve done with clients, and the best way to do that was to show a screenshot of their homepage as part of the case study. But capturing that screenshot can be a tedious mess. With Snagit, you click one button and it does all the work for you.
