We can use a build system to execute programs and capture their output in Sublime, and we can use the Terminus package to make those builds interactive. What if you need to run your build in an external command prompt?

This video shows a simple method for modifying your build system to execute the command in an external command prompt window, including having the window remain when you're done, close when the command closes, and even how to do this with multiple chained commands.

This particular recipe is for Windows users only, though there are videos on the channel at the links outlined below that show how to do this on Linux and MacOS as well.
