John Dramani Mahama sworn in as new President of Ghana
On July 24th, Ghana's President, John Evans Atta Mills died, leaving the nation in shock. Mills was only five months away from completing his first term in office and he had planned to run for a second term in elections in December.
John Dramani Mahama, the former vice president, was sworn in several hours after Prof. Mills died.
