Negative Space To Positive Space
In every art work negative painting plays very important role. In my previous videos I have explained what is positive and negative space. This is a next step to understand more about it.
In this exercise we will see how a negative space is converted to positive space. There are two tricks. One, Bring out shapes layer by layer. It means, the shapes which were not visible earlier become visible when outline is painted with a next layer. Two, Every next layer should be darker. It means, the darker layer creates contrast and the objects are highlighted. This way the positive painting comes out from a negative space.
