Manual valve lift measurement
This is a demonstration of a custom cam scanner. A stepper motor through gear reduction will advance the camshaft in specific increments. Valves are lifted by rocker arms. Valve springs will return the valves into seated position. Valve lift is shown by a digital indicator. At each step of rotation lift is recorded. Intake and exhaust valve lift is recorded by repositioning the indicator.
