Gigafactory Texas on 25 July 2022! Where the Model Y is built and in the future, the Cyber Truck as well!

Another busy start to the work week, in this case, the last week of July 2022! Progress is easily visible in several significant areas, including the W side steel ramp and new cargo loading bays with trucks bringing production parts to what is likely General Assembly lines #2 and #3! The east side secondary entrance is getting glass installed today, grass is being installed in large areas on the north end of the main building, and the battery cathode structure is now completed, so we look closely at the signed “final beam” installed on the northeast corner, the perimeter grade beam and floors on the south end getting ready for concrete, electrical conduit on the west side, and more!

Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy this “talk & fly format!

Here are some highlights from today's video:
Across the highway on the south end, we see work to widen River Road has nearly been completed, adding more asphalt along both the east and west directions, and work on the water management ponds and area on the south of the road. We also see other areas where new roads may be constructed heading north near the material staging and foundation part of this location.
An exciting development on the west side of General Assembly is not only is the steel ramp actively being used, but also, the new cargo loading bays were being used by four semi-trucks/trailers, bringing production parts. This is where inside the building both General Assembly lines #2 and #3 are being assembled!
On the east side of the Body-in-White structure, we see the secondary entrance is getting glass installed today, and a section of the threshold area has had concrete poured. All of the plastic material that was temporarily put up to protect from weather where the glass will be installed has been removed, and we see the panes of glass for this area have been moved into position for installation.
-At the battery cathode structure, we see the main skeleton assembly is now completed, and crews are going around and installing all of the rest of the bolts and torqueing them to specifications. We also look closely at the signed “final beam” installed on the northeast corner (part of the ceremonial “completion” of the steel structure), and the large crane is being prepared for disassembly. Along the east side of the structure, we see the perimeter grade beam and floors on the south end getting ready for concrete, and on the west side, electrical conduit is being installed in newly trenched areas near where the plumbing for external tank farm was recently constructed.
On the south end of the main building, we see a lot of activity at the stamping extension area, with multiple dump trucks bringing fill dirt inside to complete excavations going on inside, and more materials are being delivered here as well. A lot of work completing this area of the interior here is well underway, but out of sight of the drones.
The north electrical substation construction on hold pending the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) getting final permits to begin construction, but grade work on the Megapack area continues.
E new loading area on south end of Body-in-White structure has grade work nearly completed, with one small area needing dirt to finish this area and begin rebar installation and then concrete pours. Both the north and south retaining walls are now completed.
On the north end, we see continued irrigation work and installation, and we see large areas getting grass/sod installed.
