Creating users and assigning licenses is the most common day-one task for any Microsoft 365 admin. It looks simple, but doing it consistently at scale is where most teams trip up.
In this video I walk through creating a new user in the Microsoft 365 admin center, assigning a license, and using the user template feature to lock in standardized settings - so every new user gets created the same way without manual rework or copy-paste errors.
This is the foundation. In later videos we revisit user management from the Microsoft Entra admin center, then move into bulk CSV imports, and finally fully automate the process using Microsoft Graph PowerShell.
