Internal Neck Dome Trimmer | Blow Molding technology
The internal neck dome trimmer, driven by the motor, is designed to cut the dome in the bottles present in the product pick-up unit.
The blades lower, advance towards the dome until they penetrate the body of the bottle and then rotate around the diameter of the dome to complete the cut.
The nozzles blow air to detach the dome from the bottle and drop it onto the scrap conveyor.
The airflow from the nozzles can be adjusted by the respective regulators and displayed by the pressure gauges.
