The easiest DIY passport cover
Hi! Today I'll show you how to make the simplest passport cover out of faux leather. All you need is faux leather! And now for the tools: a metal ruler, a utility knife, a pencil, a hole punch (optional), a sewing machine, a corner rounder (you can round corners with a coin (just trace a circle of the appropriate diameter), and masking tape/clamps.
I cut the necessary faux leather pieces to the dimensions I provide in the video. There are three pieces in total. After marking the width and depth of the card on the side pieces, I punch holes with a hole punch, then make a slit between them. The circles prevent the faux leather from tearing later, and it just looks nicer. Next, I secure all the pieces in place with masking tape and clamps, then stitch the entire perimeter on the sewing machine. That's it! The cover is ready! If desired and possible, you can add a beautiful inscription using heat-transfer film. Happy crafting!
