With the "Start-Stop" automation system, you no longer have to stand for hours at the still, waiting for the "heads" to run out. The automation takes care of all these long and routine processes. This system operates in two modes: first distillation and second distillation. It performs specific functions in each mode.
Important: the "Start-Stop" automation system works with moonshine stills equipped with a distillation unit.
First Distillation Mode
During the first distillation, the automation stops distillation when the temperature in the still reaches a certain value (from 95 to 99 degrees Celsius). Pour the mash into the still, begin distillation, and then go about your business. The automation automatically stops the extraction of raw alcohol when the set temperature is reached.
Second Distillation Mode
Separating the alcohol into fractions is simplified by the fact that each fraction has its own boiling point. In any case, without automation, you will have to constantly monitor the temperature to avoid missing the "body" or "tails." The principle of the second distillation with automation is to stop extraction based on temperature. The automation valve will stop extraction when the "tails" (temperature jump) begin to appear. As soon as the temperature in the column stabilizes, the valve opens and extraction of the body "continues."
Start-Stop Automation Device
Valve. This regulates extraction. When certain values are reached, extraction stops.
Brains. Using the main automation unit, you can change the distillation parameters.
Temperature Sensor. Connects to the distillation column. Transmits data to the main unit.
