“Whoa Kartoffel forced to use ubers no way” you should’ve commented that a few videos ago lol. Anyways this isn’t really a concession to using ubers but I really tried to get by without using Cone.

Introducing Malevolent Mohawk Cat:

Malevolent Mohawk is the buffed up version of Wicked Cat, boosting the Crazed version’s offensive power with speed to back it up. Malevolent Mohawk has these stats:

HP: 3,600,000 (Shield: 48,000)
KB: 30 (Shield Regen: 100%)

Range: 240
Speed: 25

Damage: 18,000
Attack rate: 0.53 sec
DPS: 33,750

Abilities:
Countersurge
Immune to Weaken, Freeze, Slow, KB, Wave

Malevolent Mohawk’s extremely aggressive nature would normally call for CC, but he has immunities to all of the relevant CC effects. Instead, you have to match brute force with brute force, which is really hard to do while also stalling. Your DPS options without Ubers are few and quite frankly not enough to allow Cactus to stall. Believe me, I tried. So you have 2 options, use Cone instead for better defense or use Ubers for better offense.

Cone is by far the easiest route and turns this stage into a joke, stalling so hard that you can just use Fiend and other LD to cheese the base before Malevolent Mohawk even dies. Malevolent Mohawk’s only support is infinite Fallen Bears and 2 Le’Behemoths, who can be bullied behind the enemy base by Barrel and Fiend.

However, this requires beating Kappy Kawano first, a concept I’m sure many of you don’t like. However, most anti-Aku Ubers can allow your offense to control the battle rather than defense. In this case, I use Hevijak to put constant pressure on the enemies and hit KBs on Le’Behemoth and Fallen Bear should they come too close. This allows you to use Cactus and still have just enough stalling power to keep Malevolent Mohawk from destroying your attackers. Focus on Ubers with high DPS and/or Shield Pierce who can keep Malevolent Mohawk KB’d constantly. Other good examples of this include Amakusa, Lilin, Kyklops, Lufalan, Phono, and Gao among many others. Try to kill Fallen Bear and Le’Behemoth fast since they’re your only source of cash during the boss fight.

Unit Levels (Talents):

Beating this stage unlocks the True Form of Brainwashed Cat. Unlike the other Cat variants, Brainwashed Cat is a seasonal gacha SR available on the Easter and Halloween banners in addition to some milestone event selection banners. No evolution material is required to evolve Brainwashed Cat.

Brainwashed Mohawk receives only a few changes between forms. First is a 100% increase in HP. However, B. Mohawk still has absurdly low HP, even for the standards of Cat variants. This does not really change anything significant. What is significant though is the newly acquired Relic target and Curse Immunity alongside it. Brainwashed Cat was already the best Cat variant due to its 30% chance to dodge Black and Aku enemies. Now in TF, this is extended to Relic enemies as well. If you have Brainwashed Cat, make every effort to get its TF as soon as you can. It will be invaluable throughout the entirety of UL as an incredibly efficient anti-Relic specialist meatshield. Aggressive Relic enemies such as M. Ost, Relic Bun Bun, and Sir Rel being entirely halted by a single B. Mohawk is a game changer and can trivialize previously very difficult stages involving these enemies mixed with Black or Aku enemies. All this for a 90 cost meatshield with a 2 sec cooldown. Yeah this unit is broken.

In terms of saving tickets for this unit, absolutely save tickets and cat food to go for this unit. It appears alongsisde Brainwashed Gross and Fish, the best and third best Brainwashed units respectively. Brainwashed Mohawk itself is the second best Brainwashed unit. If you’re looking for Brainwashed units, going for the Easter and Halloween banners is a no-brainer.
