Power BI Quick Tip: Visualizing Real-Time Cosmos DB Data Using Synapse Link
A quick demo on how Synapse Link feature can be enabled for Cosmos DB instance for analyzing real-time data using Synapse Analytics serverless SQL pool and create visualizations using Power BI
Direct connection from Power BI to Azure Cosmos DB is possible but only import mode is supported so real-time reporting is not easy. Synapse link helps to bridge this gap and integrates Cosmos DB with Azure Synapse Analytics in real-time and this coupled with Power BI integration enables us to get reports with live data extracted from Cosmos DB instances.
