A diver’s journal from the Arctic Ocean: Part 2

It is November in northern Norway, and Deep Seas’ film team are not the only ones searching for herring in the area.
Orcas and fishing boats take their share of the fish, and they have recently gotten in competition from another species – the humpback whale, who has traveled all the way from Costa Rica.
In this second part of the series, we follow underwater photographer Johan Candert below the surface as he attempts to film the humpback whales. Candert talks about the challenges of capturing the large and fast animals with the camera during the few hours of daylight.
