Huawei HG8245C Downgrade V5 to V3 | Firmware Rollback Guide | telecomadmin Login Method
In this video, I demonstrate how to downgrade the Huawei EchoLife HG8245C firmware from Version 5 back to Version 3 safely and correctly.
If you upgraded to V5 and want to return to the older V3 interface, this step-by-step rollback guide will help you perform the firmware downgrade without damaging your router.
🔧 Downgrade Process Overview:
• Login via telecomadmin account
• Navigate to System Tools
• Select Firmware Upgrade
• Upload Version 3 firmware
• Wait for installation
• Restart router
• Login again and confirm V3 UI
⚠️ Important:
Make sure you are using the correct firmware file for HG8245C. Do not interrupt power during downgrade.
After successful downgrade, the router returns to the classic Version 3 interface and works normally.
