The FE on the Cube Nuroad FE stands for all-round roadworthy additional equipment ex works. Long mudguards, an LED lighting system and a light luggage rack make it more suitable for everyday use.
The fast and robust Cube Nuroad gravel bike series combines the best features from the world of racing bikes, cyclocrossers and mountain bikes. A full carbon fork and tire clearance of up to 45 mm (the FE is 40 mm due to the mudguards) increase comfort on dirt roads and gravel roads. The Nuroad gravel bikes are perfect for racing bike fans who like to deviate from the road or who want more comfort without compromising on acceleration and top speed.
The equipment version of the Cube Nuroad shown here offers you 16 switching levels, which are essentially supplied by a Shimano Claris. The shift levers also come from the Claris racing bike assembly and to take some speed out of the ride, Cube has installed Tektro disc brakes on the Nuroad FE. The mechanical braking system is easier to maintain than hydraulic braking variants, but it also delivers excellent braking performance on wet roads. The in-house Cube wheelset (with Schwalbe G-One gravel tires) will definitely bring you to a standstill in an easy-to-dose manner.
