Upwork Will Return Our Connects[Conditions Apply] | Upwork's Connects Return Policy 2020
One of the major complaints from Freelancers was about Upwork connects getting wasted. many of the times, freelancers would apply on a job on upwork but the client doesn't hire anyone that will result in Upwork connects getting wasted. Considering this issue, Upwork is conducting a new test to refund Connects on no-hire contracts that include 3 main criteria of upwork connects getting returned.
* Upwork Connects will be returned If the clients don't hire anyone and closes the job.
* Upwork Connects will be returned if the job gets expired.
* Upwork connects will be returned if the job is removed by Upwork(if the job post violates Upwork's terms and condition)
As of March 2nd, 2020, This feature is in the "Beta" mode. so you can expect Upwork's connects return policy to be fully implemented in the near future.
I've made another video that explains how you can prevent your Upwork connects from getting wasted by applying certain filters on the upwork job post. Still, if the client doesn't hire anyone and closes the job, your Upwork Connects will be returned.
