3 Mixed models series: Simulating data using the 2-stage random effects formulation
In this video I show you how to make fake repeated measures data using the 2-stage formulation. This is super helpful if you're trying to understand the output from lmer, since the truth is known when you make up your own data! Also, I will build off of this simulation setup to investigate different modeling strategies in the future (Type I error and Power).
